when we arrive on site the road is already blocked by police - oh no not again! some of our crew use this time while talks are underway to go cooling off in the black sea. finally some sort of agreement with the mayor is reached and it is on! apart from the garbage dump one has to drive thru to get to the site the land is quite nice, nice panorama of the black sea and the city lights of Burgas in the back at night. Nestled between hills theres not much sound of the 9 systems filtering out to annoy village inhabitants. we spent 4 nice days in cool family atmosphere. our puppies find new homes. thanx again to Layka/Massa and the Czech Junglist crew for making a big rig happening!
then off to the beach to chill!

eastward ho!
on the way from budapest to the romanian border we hear of massive floods that went down somewhere in bulgaria, we think this might be true for romania as well, also we re in a hurry so we figure it a good idea going thru yugoslavia. the idea was not that good: road tolls in Serbia were jacked up about 60% recently so we ended up paying appr. 75 Euros per van for the 500 klicks to the bulgarian border. a fuckin rip off that should be avoided! alone the highway from Beograd to Nis cost us 43 Euros each.
on a toll station a bunch of puppies are rescued from the trash that go with us now. one truck loses a window due to a freak accident, hopefully it won t rain too heavily.

budapest
budapest was a blast, massive party under a highway junction, and basically only minor police interference, in the end they were contend just watching from the highway bridges. we stayed until sunday evening then went to a park with a bath to chill. apperently the party also made it on TV with talk of Bulgarian rockers . go figure...

the summer of police...
i must be feeling really safe at the moment because i know that cops all over are on the case and doing their job to serve and protect seriously. just why is it that i feel they re not serving me and somehow we ended up on the wrong end of the stick? will there be finally be one single day on which we do not get harrassed by the thugs in blue?
lego/cyberrise party was nice for a while, we got joined by toxic sound from austria and some friends from cz. but then like 4 hours into the party, of course, austrias finest turns up and starts disturbing the peace. for a while we held our ground and managed to go on until daylight but then the 2 massive walls were finally subdued to silence. went on until noon w/ minimal sound. just want to get outta austria at the moment. budapest is on, it should be massive!
if anyone is still in doubt, lemme tell ya - europe IS a fuckin police state already and it will get worse!
and a message to the police: if ya carry on like this you will be in for a serious wake up call at one point cause if you push people too far they will push back!
